This is where a lot of wedding & travel professionals go wrong, but it makes total sense why. Obviously, if you don’t define your ideal wedding couple (which I cover in part 1 of this series), then your marketing message is unclear and too generic.
This results in attracting no one because your potential client doesn’t feel as if your message is speaking to them.
Summarize who your ideal wedding couple is
First, let’s summarize who your ideal wedding couple is so you can stop wasting time and money, produce results from your marketing efforts, increase your bookings and commissions and love what you do! *cue the Hallelujah chorus* 😂
Here are a few examples:
- Busy couples
- Overwhelmed couples
- Influencer couples
- Foodie couples
- Catholic couples
Define what their main roadblock or problem is
Second, define what their main roadblock or problem is.
Here are a few examples:
- Time
- Organization
- Stress
- Worry about failing
- Making decisions
Write your message that speaks clearly to their problems
Third, your message should clearly state who you help and how you help them.
How you help them is your specialty, your area of expertise. So, it all needs to make sense and your expertise should be the answer to their biggest challenge or roadblock.
- Step 1: Summarize who your ideal wedding couple is
- Step 2: Define the main challenge of your ideal client
- Step 3: Summarize your specialty
