Which Is the Best Platform for Your Hub Content to Increase Your Leads, Bookings, and Revenue

If you’ve been at any of our Facebook Lives lately, you know that Lou and I push that you have a content strategy to attract new wedding leads, & bookings.

You always want to start your strategy with a “Hub Content” piece.

Hub Content

Hub content is usually a longer, more in-depth piece that gives your audience a complete breakdown of a topic.

There are 4 main platforms to publish your Hub Content:

  1. Magazine Articles
  2. Blogs
  3. Podcasts
  4. Long-form Video

The question is which one is best for you and your content strategy? I’m going to break down each one so that you can decide which is best for you!

Magazine Articles

Any time you can have a magazine article to share, that is always a good thing. Most magazines, like Brides, the Knott, or some other bridal publication in your own area, will go a long way to build your credibility quickly with wedding couples because, in some ways, it feels like a referral from the Magazine company itself. So just the fact that you are in the publication, builds an immediate trust factor with the wedding couples.

Blogs

A blog is one of the best spots to put Hub Content. This is an article, just like you would have written in a magazine, but it lives on your website forever. A blog will build your credibility with wedding couples, but it is a slower build, as wedding couples read more and more of your content, they get to know, like, and trust you as the expert who can help them.

Podcasts

Audio episodes focused on a particular topic or theme similar to a radio program but in an on-demand format that can be listened to at any time.

Long-form Video

Video is currently one of the most popular platforms you can put your content on because it is a highly engaging platform. Wedding couples get to engage with you in a way that no other platform allows. In fact, many couples will feel a stronger connection with you, like they really know you, vs any other content type.

Wrap Up

The most important thing to do is don’t try to juggle ALL of these platforms at once. Choose one of these platforms to invest your time into, and become a master of that platform first, then you will start branching out. Believe me, there are PLENTY of wedding couples who will find your content and begin to consume it if it’s quality.
