Are you looking for a steady flow of leads for your travel business? Are you tired of doing what the experts say and spending a lot of time and money on ads, wedding shows, social media, etc. only to find yourself frustrated?
I totally understand your pain! I was there once as well, and I want to let you know there is hope and it won’t cost you your firstborn or your sanity!
This blog post is going to cover the first element you will need to start getting leads for your wedding and travel business. You in?
Let’s do this! 💪
Element # 1
Define Your Ideal Wedding Couple
If you’re trying to be all things to all people, it could be why your marketing efforts aren’t panning out.
Here’s the scoop. You’re not looking to attract engaged couples who are planning a destination wedding, you are looking for a specific couple who needs your expertise to fulfill their vision for their wedding away.
How do you discover who your ideal wedding couple is so you can start attracting them?
You could simply think of a past client who you really enjoyed working with and write down their characteristics and what made them such great clients and why you loved helping them plan their destination wedding or honeymoon.
If you’re new, haven’t had an ideal client yet, or want to fine-tune your business, then I suggest writing a list of your strengths. Why? Well, once you know what lights you up and what you are naturally good at, then you have a better idea of who would need you and your services.
For example, if you are super organized and detail oriented, then your ideal couple may be a little unorganized, carefree, or super busy, and thus they need someone who can take the reins and keep everything in check during the planning process. Make sense?
How do you know what your ideal couple needs?
Ask yourself these questions:
- What is their biggest desire for their wedding day?
- What is keeping them up at night?
- What is frustrating them in the planning process?
Once you get clarity on these things, you will have the foundation that is necessary to launch a wedding travel business and get leads.
If I can offer you any advice to grow your destination wedding business and get quality leads for your travel agency, it is this: decide who YOU want to with and then create everything for your business around that ideal client.
- Your marketing messages
- Your branding
- Your content
- Your website
- Your social profiles
- Your lead magnet
EVERYTHING!
