If you’re in business for yourself, you’ve likely heard the saying, “Content is King”. Essentially, that means that the content you create and share, is what builds and grows your business.
This past week I was in the Dominican Republic with a few of the wedding planners in our 20K community. We were able to visit four resorts, chat about business strategies and take the knowledge we gathered to share it with our ideal client.
Like I mentioned in my last blog post, knowing who your ideal bride is will help you know what she needs and in knowing what she needs, you’ll know what content will be helpful to her.
As much as it was annoying sometimes, I always made videos when I traveled… So many that I haven’t even posted all of them! And that’s okay, because every time I had to make a video on the fly, I got better and better at it.
Here’s the thing, even if I was short on time, didn’t have my hair and makeup done, if I was in a position to make a video that would help my bride, I would do it.
I remember one time I was on a family vacation in Mexico. I set aside an afternoon to go visit my bride’s wedding venue. She was concerned about the seaweed issue and I knew that if I went and got some pictures and videos, it would put her mind at ease.
Even though I was on vacation with my family, I wanted to provide her with the content that would give her peace of mind. When you create your content like this, like you are making it for one person who you know needs it, your content will truly be king.
If you didn’t catch it, here is the Facebook Live Lou and I did while there. We talked all about your content strategy and gave some really great tips! 👇
