Are You Serious?

Are You Serious?

I remember the first time I got serious about my business and building it to be something more than just “extra income.”

It was 2012 and I had been having successes with my destination wedding and honeymoon business, but I felt like I was working really hard for the money I was making.

Sure, I loved the perks of the complimentary nights from the resorts, which allowed my family to go on amazing trips, but the amount of responsibility I had wasn’t matching my paycheck… You know what I mean? 🤦‍♀

My husband connected us to a bridal marketer, as I desperately needed some guidance. I felt stuck and overwhelmed. I found myself frustrated with my business and I knew that I just needed a plan and some answers.

The day came to chat with her. It was a complimentary 30-minute session and I didn’t want to waste a second of it.

I shared my business situation with her and what my goals were. I could sense her genuineness and knew deep in my core that she could help me.

After chatting with her, I felt a sense of relief as I knew that breakthrough was on the horizon! I cannot explain the peace that I experienced at that moment.

She sent me the information to work with her one on one and the structure of her mentorship/coaching. Everything she offered was exactly what I needed, and I knew it would help catapult me to where I wanted to go.

There was one problem… It was $3,000!  Gulp! 😱 Lou and I discussed our options, prayed about it and decided to go forward.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but we knew that successful people invest in themselves. We knew that in order to get to where we’ve never been, we need to do what we’ve never done.

We knew that in order to fulfill what God told us to do with our business, we needed help.

But we knew that successful people invest in themselves. We knew that in order to get to where we’ve never been, we need to do what we’ve never done.

Being a business owner isn’t for cowards! It requires grit and tenacity. It requires vision and action.

Are you feeling stuck? Do you feel as if you’ve hit a plateau with your business or are working hard but the dollars aren’t matching the hours? It may be time for a change. It may be time for you to take a leap of faith.

If I wouldn’t have made the investment in that coach, I wouldn’t have created a business that allowed me to pay cash for my daughters to go to college, give away thousands of dollars to ministries, pay our cars off in cash, remodel our kitchen, retire my husband from teaching and so much more.

If you are serious about building a successful destination wedding or honeymoon business, and design the life of your dreams, I would be honored to be your mentor. 😊
